Serving the Dark Lord of Mordor in his search for the One Ring, terrifying screams announce their presence, astride a sinister dark horse with red eyes, at the edge of the Ford of Bruinen (“Strong Water”), one of Sauron’s nine most horrific servants unsheaths and raises his sword in his right hand, while with the other he holds the short reins of his fearsome steed to control it, ready to continue the pursuit of his victim, the bearer of the One Ring, to fulfill his mission to recover the most powerful of the twenty rings of power and return it to his master and creator. Therefore, Iron Studios presents the “Nazgûl on Horse Deluxe Statue – The Lord of the Rings – Art Scale 1/10” featuring one of Sauron’s most feared enslaved Dark Riders in Middle-earth on their bestial steed as depicted in the memorable classic film trilogy, adapted from the work of JRR Tolkien, by writer, director and producer Peter Jackson.
Achieving immortality as ghosts, where their very essence was transformed into torture, nine great kings of men succumbed to Sauron's power, when each received one of the nine Rings of Power. After many years, the power of the rings transformed them into wraiths invisible to all but Sauron and anyone who wears the One Ring, who will be able to see them in their ghostly form, as pale figures with glowing eyes, grey hair and silver helmets. They travel covered in black cloaks and silver armour that give them a shape similar to the Reapers. They are considered the lieutenants of Sauron's armies, the most famous of which is the Witch-king of Angmar, the deadliest warrior of the forces of Mordor. In Peter Jackson's film trilogy based on The Lord of the Rings, all nine Nazgûl are shown, and as they pursue the hobbit Frodo and the elf Arwen, as the heroes cross the River Bruinen in the frontier of Rivendell, Arwen summons the waters to create a flood to stop the Nazgûl, which then happens to the waters in the form of a stampede of horses, sweeping away the ringwraiths, causing them to lose their steeds.
