The oldest and sole survivor of her pack, and more intelligent and cunning than all her sisters since she was a pup, the gray-blue Velociraptor female, marked by a distinctive blue stripe with a white outline running horizontally from her eyeballs to the tip of her tail, as the last of her kind faces an imminent threat in the form of an erupting volcano on the abandoned Isla Nublar. Poised to attack, Iron Studios presents the "Blue Deluxe - Fallen Kingdom - Art Scale 1/10" statue on a diorama pedestal depicting her nest next to the debris of an Explorer 04 vehicle once crushed by a T. rex, where baby Compsognathus dinosaurs made by Iron Studios for the first time blend in with the vegetation, inspired by the film Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom, in which the charismatic and sometimes ferocious female Raptor reunites with her old trainer Owen Grady who searches for her on a rescue mission. Introduced in the film Jurassic World (2015), Blue is known to be stubborn, but very loyal to Owen Grady. Created by InGen for the IBRIS (Integrated Behavioral Raptor Intelligence Study) Project to study Velociraptor intelligence, one of the goals of the project was to use the trained raptors in military operations, which trainer Owen did not agree with. Her original herd, consisting of her sisters Charlie, Delta, and Echo, names that are a reference to the NATO phonetic alphabet system, were trained to follow over 40 commands. After an accident on Isla Nublar caused by the genetic hybrid dinosaur Indominus Rex created by InGen, Blue was the sole survivor of her herd and became the only confirmed living raptor. Touted as one of the most intelligent creatures on the planet, Blue is capable of expressing emotions, such as affection, grief, and empathy, which most other dinosaurs in the Jurassic franchise cannot. In addition to the films, Blue has made a few guest appearances for the Netflix TV series "Camp Cretaceous" on the recently abandoned Isla Nublar. Iron Studios also brings the regular version "Blue - Fallen Kingdom - Art Scale 1/10", with the pedestal with the movie logo. With many releases based on the Jurassic Park film that started the series, this is the first Iron Studios statue based on the second trilogy and the Fallen Kingdom film, expanding the collection for fans and collectors.
