James Bond Replica 1/1 Tarot Cards Limited Edition

Live and Let Die is the only James Bond film to feature a supernatural theme and was also the first major film to feature tarot card readings as a central plot element. The producers wanted to avoid all the typical occult stereotypes that were often seen in films of the time featuring Tarot. So Scottish artist Fergus Hall was commissioned to paint unique artwork as centerpieces for the iconic Solitaire cards. A traditional tarot deck contains 78 cards, yet the tight deadlines of film production meant that only 27 different paintings, and therefore only 27 different prop cards, could be completed in time. A licensed deck of 78 Tarot cards was made available in stores when Live And Let Die premiered in theaters. This same deck was later renamed "The Witches' Tarot" and remains popular among Tarot practitioners and enthusiasts to this day. However, both of these decks feature significantly revised and altered artwork that was produced after filming was completed and does not match what was seen in the film. The team at Factory Entertainment have meticulously digitally restored high-resolution scans of the original prop cards in the EON Productions archive. This set exactly replicates the 27 cards used in the production, including two recently rediscovered cards that were thought to be lost and had never been reproduced before. The set also includes 10 duplicate "The Lovers" cards, for a total of 37 cards in each set. Each card is printed on heavyweight cardstock and features a stylised 007 motif on the reverse. Presented in a sleek gift box, with magnetic closure. Each set includes an individually numbered COA booklet and a screen-accurate black velvet slipcase.
