Godzilla Plastic Model Kit 1/8 Godzilla Toho Yuji Sakai Modeling Collection 30 cm

The Yuji Sakai Modeling Collection, a series of soft vinyl figures sculpted and produced by Sakai Yuji, brings back "Godzilla (2016) 4th Form" in its Ortho version! This figure is based on Sakai's garage kit prototype, which was modeled after the Godzilla featured in the film's iconic overpass scene revealed in 2017, and which, coincidentally, is the Godzilla that Sakai believes to be the coolest. This figure has been painted entirely in monochrome colors and will be released as the "Ortho Version," to commemorate the DVD and Blu-ray release of Shin Godzilla: Ortho, which was only available for a limited time in 2023. Under Mr. Sakai's supervision, the various transparent parts in each section have had their interiors painted to give the entire body its impressive glowing appearance. The illustration for this "Godzilla (2016) Ortho Version" was created by Sakai himself who made the trip to Onarigaya in Kamakura City, the filming location for the movie scene, took photos from the same angles seen in the movie and composited them together with the model to create the illustration. *The lighting function requires the included USB cable. Just like the first release, the master mold for this release was made using a cast prototype that was converted to wax and all products are made from this master mold which helps minimize the wear and tear that occurs during the soft vinyl creation process and allows you to focus on reproducing as many intricate details as possible.
