After a brief period of exile on Earth, the small, sturdy alien being with wrinkled brown skin and large blue eyes points his long finger toward the stars, indicating the arrival of his rescue. At his side, the boy Elliott and his younger sister Gertie, his friends, protectors and guests accompany his departure. Gertie carries in her small hands the vase of flowers that the strange being from another world revived when they met, a gift he gladly accepted. Elliott, who shares a psychic connection with the alien, which makes their bond of friendship even stronger, understands but suffers even more from his departure. Another unforgettable and emblematic scene from one of the most praised and memorable works of the seventh art is reproduced by Iron Studios in the beautiful diorama statue "ET, Elliot and Gertie - ET - Deluxe Art Scale 1/10", on a base with the floor and vegetation of the forest where everything takes place, with the edges decorated with themed elements reminiscent of ET's spaceship and the film logo on the front. In the film, a group of alien botanists secretly visit Earth at night to collect plant specimens. With the arrival of American government vehicles, the group departs in their spaceship, leaving behind one of their little members who has become separated from the group. ET finds a local named Elliott, who ends up hiding and protecting the little being lost on Earth, forming a gentle bond of friendship with a strong empathic connection between them. After some adventures and challenges, with the help of Elliott and his siblings, ET creates a makeshift communication device out of household objects and is able to successfully "phone home", communicating with his kind, who return in their spaceship the next day to collect him. From the fictional world created by Steven Spielberg and written by Melissa Mathison, the 1982 film E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial is one of the highest-grossing films of all time, winning 4 Academy Awards.
