    Product description

With a curtain of stars decorating the large stained-glass backdrop and large rose branches sprouting from marble columns, a beastly creature with brown fur, horns, claws, and a tail, dressed in formal, noble attire, delicately leads a romantic dance with a beautiful woman with long brown hair. Above a scenographic base reminiscent of a palace ballroom, with its stairs and red carpet at the front, the peculiar couple is watched by Lumière, the castle's charismatic yet rebellious footman, transformed into a candelabra, followed by a tea party with a theatrical performance. Adding to the line celebrating Disney's centennial, Iron Studios presents the "Beauty and the Beast Deluxe - Disney 100th - Disney Classics - Art Scale 1/10" statue, inspired by Disney's 30th theatrical animated film, based on the fairy tale La Belle et la Belle by Jeanne Leprisce de Beaumont. Iron Studios will also release the regular version of the statue, "Beauty and the Beast - Disney 100th - Disney Classics - Art Scale 1/10," featuring Belle and her partner dancing on a base reminiscent of the ballroom floor of Beast's castle. The limited edition statue, "Beauty and the Beast 100 Years - Disney 100th - Disney Classics - Art Scale 1/10," features the loving couple dancing on a base reminiscent of the palace floor. The statue also features a highly decorated silver base with a commemorative front plaque. Only 100 Disney statues will be available, making this a very special anniversary gift for fans to celebrate and be part of the centennial. The statue, which features a front-facing position, is available. In 18th-century France, a young and wealthy, yet cruel and selfish, prince humiliates an old beggar on a cold winter's night when he offers him a rose in exchange for shelter. The old lady reveals herself to be an enchantress of great beauty, and although he begs for mercy, to punish him for the lovelessness in his heart, the enchantress curses him, transforming him into a hideous beast and his servants into anthropomorphic household objects. The rose the enchantress offers him is magical, and the spell could only be broken if the prince learns to love someone and is loved in return. However, if the last petal falls from the rose, the spell can no longer be broken. After 10 years, a bookish young woman named Belle, daughter of an eccentric inventor named Maurice, willingly places herself as the beast's prisoner in her father's place, having become lost in the forest and seeking refuge in the beast's overrun castle and being locked up for it. Over time they began to fall in love with each other, giving Beast the chance to break the spell and his curse and return to his human form along with his servants. Released in 1991, the film was universally praised by critics and audiences alike and was nominated for numerous awards, winning a Golden Globe Award for Best Motion Picture – Musical or Comedy (a first for an animated film). Beauty and the Beast was the first animated film to be nominated for a Best Picture Academy Award, and the only animated film until 2009 with more than six nominations. It also won two awards: Best Original Score and Best Original Song. The statue is available for pre-order now, first revealed during the Iron Studios Day show on April 11 on the official Iron Studios YouTube channel.
