    Product description

Deep in the Gulf of Mexico, the monarch of an ancestral underwater kingdom floats on the water above a coral reef and sandy sediments, with a shark and a moray eel, two fearsome marine carnivores, swimming by his feet with wings on his ankles , which allow him to fly out of the water just like the geek god Hermes. Representing K'uk'ulkan, the Feathered Serpent God, a Mesoamerican deity, he boasts an eccentric ceremonial helmet atop his head, worn as a crown, only when he speaks as a king to his people. Wearing golden shoulder pads with red bands coming out of the back, green shorts with a golden belt and many ornaments, he holds his vibranium spear firmly in his right hand, ready for war. Inspired by the Marvel film version presented in the film "Black Panther: Wakanda Forever", Iron Studios presents the statue "King Namor Deluxe - Wakanda Forever - Art Scale 1/10" with the mutant antihero and antagonist, firstborn of Talokan, an ancient civilization of underwater inhabitants linked to the Mayan peoples, played by Tenoch Huerta in the 30th MCU film. In the 16th century, a Yucatan tribe fell victim to smallpox brought by the Spanish conquerors. Fen, a woman of the tribe, pregnant by an Aztec mercenary spy, followed her shaman's guidelines together with her village and, in an attempt to cure the disease, ingested a peculiar blue underwater herb. However, the plant was infused with vibranium, altering the tribe's anatomy and biology. The plant turned their skin blue and took away their ability to breathe air but allowed them to extract oxygen from the sea water, and they soon settled in the ocean, far from war and disease, to start a new life transformed into first Talokanil. In this underwater world, Fen gave birth to Ch'ah Toh Almehen, but the effects of the herb she ingested caused her child to mutate, and he was born with winged feet, pointed ears, and a skin color similar to the human one. After his mother's death, Almehen visited the surface world and witnessed the atrocities of Spanish colonization, which forced him to take some violent measures and, at this time, he gained the name Namor from his enemies. In the present, determined to protect his people, Namor felt threatened when the United States came close to discovering Talokan while searching for vibranium. Namor contacted the isolated kingdom of Wakanda, seeing it as another target for the surface nations, and proposed a military alliance, but the Golden Tribe resisted going to war against the world, and in response, Namor led his people against Wakanda. With a deep hatred towards surface dwellers and a strong determination to protect his people at all costs, Namor is brutal and ruthless. Although he is the ruler of Talokan and a true god to his subjects, Namor is friendly and close to his people. Being a mutant, Namor is very different from his people, who can only breathe underwater; it can breathe both in land and in water. His strength is proportional to the amount of water he is exposed to, therefore, the closer Namor gets to the water or inside the water, the stronger he becomes, reaching physical strength comparable to that of the Hulk. Its dense skin, muscles and tissues make it almost invulnerable. He also has superhuman agility, stamina and reflexes, enhanced vision and hearing, and a healing factor, and due to his mutant nature, he ages more slowly. Dimensions: 27x14x15 cm
