A former psychiatrist and intern at Arkham Asylum, Dr. Harleen Quinzel found herself surprisingly drawn to the charm of his patient known as Joker. With his charismatic and extravagant behavior, the Clown Prince of Crime seduced and manipulated the young doctor, driving her crazy and turning her into his girlfriend and criminal sidekick named Harley Quinn. With above-average agility and fighting skills, unlike Joker, can also act like a normal, sane person, enough to disguise himself, and his charisma and her psychiatric training allows her to psychologically manipulate others. Created by the duo Paul Dini and Bruce Timm, the positive reactions to the character from critics and audiences have made his presence constant in this animation and also in future Batman animations, until 1999, when it was also added to the DC Comics universe.
