From the wildly popular 1980s series Voltron: Defender of the Universe, ROBO-DOU Voltron took the world by storm, and the stunning ROBO-DOU Voltron (Retro Toy Edition) is now available, paying homage to the first Voltron collectible released in 1981! Faithfully following in the footsteps of its predecessor, ROBO-DOU Voltron (Retro Toy Edition) is a fully articulated, non-scale figure standing approximately 27 cm (~10.6") tall in Voltron mode with a substantial die-cast main chassis. This collectible variant retains the robot's iconic retro aesthetic with a striking silver electroplated finish to emphasize the nostalgia of the classic mecha look. This Retro Toy Edition includes two exclusive sets of metallic decal sticker sheets, reminiscent of the fun experience of collectibles of the past with hand-crafted details; while the remaining sticker set can be used on previously released ROBO-DOU Voltron series items. The classic Voltron is recreated using ROBO-DOU engineering to achieve a wider range of articulation and a better combination of functions than its contemporaries. ROBO-DOU Voltron (Retro Toy Edition) is composed of five Lion mecha and can split into Lion mode or combine to form Voltron. All five Lion mecha are fully articulated figures, using partially zinc alloy and metal parts for the movable joints. Together, the figure utilizes 124 points of articulation for a total of five machines, with a set of weapons in Voltron mode as well as a unique set of weapons for each Lion.
