Ripe red apples hang in the branches of the trees at number 13, framing the beautiful lemon-yellow door of the house of Bilbo and Frodo's cousins, the Sackville-Bagginses. Yet, for all the charm and generosity of their home, the sour-faced lobelia and Otho only have eyes for the bottom of the bag, peering enviously out the window onto the hill.
