Product description

Iron Studios brings the leader of the Turtle Brothers in a new statue based on the 1990 film! In the underground tunnels, the heroic anthropomorphic mutant turtle, along with his brothers trained in the arts of ninjutsu since he was a pup, wears a blue bandana and brown elbow and knee pads, tensing his muscles while firmly holding his two katanas, his iconic signature weapons in battle. At his feet is a canister containing the mutagenic agent called Ooze, a viscous green substance that alters the genetic structure of all organisms it comes into contact with, responsible for the mutation that transformed him and his brothers into what they are. He is prepared to do anything to ensure this substance does not fall into the wrong hands. Iron Studios presents the "Leonardo - Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Movie - Art Scale 1/10" statue, completing the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles group, depicting the fearless and prominent field commander of New York's mutant protectors. Created in the comics by Kevin Eastman and Peter Laird, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (TMNT) enjoyed phenomenal success in the 1980s, expanding into a multimedia franchise and gaining a legion of fans worldwide. Consisting of four young mutant turtles with humanoid features, genetically altered by a viscous substance known as Mutagen or Ooze, the brothers of the group gained their father figure and Sensei in the form of an anthropomorphic rat named Splinter, who gave them the name of the Italian Renaissance artists. Their home and base of operations in New York is in the sewers, where they hide during the day and go on missions at night. Their greatest enemy is Shredder, the leader of the Foot Clan. Directed by Steve Barron, the 1990 independent film Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles presents the origin story of Splinter and the turtles, their first encounter with journalist April O'Neil and vigilante Casey Jones, and their first confrontation with the villain Shredder and his criminal ninja group, the Foot Clan. Leonardo, known as Leo to his brothers, is the leader of the group of genetically engineered turtles. Tactical, daring, and a devoted student of his sensei, Leonardo wears a blue mask and wields two long, sharp swords (fused katanas and ninja-to). As the eldest of the four, he often bears the burden of responsibility for his brothers, which usually brings him into conflict with Raphael. His name is inspired by the Italian polymath, painter, engineer, inventor, writer, anatomist, and sculptor Leonardo da Vinci. The figure is based on the 1990 film. Dimensions: 21.5 x 12 x 11 cm
