First 4 Figures is proud to present the highly anticipated Super Mario: Mario & Yoshi statue.
Yoshi is known as Mario's trusty companion during the plumber's adventures to rescue Princess Peach and foil the evil plans of the menacing Bowser. Yoshi was originally intended to be a Koopa-like figure, but eventually evolved into the design we all know and love today. His shell was converted into a saddle for Mario to ride on, and he was given a more dinosaur-like appearance to differentiate the two species.
In addition to Mario's ability to shoot fireballs using the Fire Flower and his limited-time invulnerability using the Power Star, the duo is able to better defeat their opponents with the help of Yoshi's unique powers. Yoshi can swallow his enemies whole using his hyper-extended tongue and gain special abilities depending on the ingested opponent, or place them in eggs that can serve as projectiles or hatch into power-up items for Mario, depending on the video game title.
Mario continues to be the face of Nintendo after all these years, and since the debut of Yoshi, the beloved green dinosaur has become a mainstay of the Mario franchise.
The EXCLUSIVE edition of Super Mario - Mario & Yoshi includes the following: -
- Super Mario - RESIN Statue of Mario and Yoshi
- Yoshi egg with built-in magnets inspired by the style and theme of the Super Mario games
- Magnetic base to place the Yoshi Egg on
- A highly detailed base for Mario and Yoshi to stand on
- Authentication card
Dimensions: 48 x 33 x 24 cm
