Crimson remembered. Mechanized mass redefined.
EVA-02 is launched, reinvented, according to condition one of the battle stations.
Working with mechanical concept artist Josh Nizzi, the "Concept By Josh Nizzi" project brings new dimensions to beloved characters. Now, from the "Evangelion" series, the Evangelion Production Model-02 joins the lineup.
This statue follows in the footsteps of the previously released Unit-01 and Fourth Angel, blending a bold mechanical reinvention with a deep respect for the original design. Nizzi imagined EVA-02 in the midst of battle, standing on the seashore, ready to face an Angel. Armed with both hands, it strikes a dramatic pose, culminating in a heroic diorama.
The rebalanced proportions give the figure a more human appearance, while detailed mechanical moldings and internal structures add a sense of purpose and precision. Design elements shared with Unit-01 further emphasize its place within the series. The body is finished in a crimson hue that blends the vibrant tones of anime with the subtle sheen of heavy machinery. LED lighting features in its four eyes and chest further enhance the sense of presence, while the industrial coastline, complete with a sunken tanker and the rippling red sea, is rendered with striking realism.
EVA-02, reimagined through a unique creative lens – a statement addition to any collection.
