Members of the Coachl, a reptilian race long vanished in Mythoss, the Serpenspire Royal Guard were the highest-ranking soldiers in Bassilia's lair. Possessing lower, serpentine bodies like Bassilia herself, only high mages ranked above the royal guards in the initial summons. Equally skilled in wielding weapons in melee combat as they were in weaving spells of power, no one knows how these soldiers disappeared from the kingdom—or perhaps their disappearance is not a mystery, but one of the many secrets locked away in the vaults of Ophidionn.
