The war axe was one of the principal weapons used by the soldiers of Rohan, a kingdom of noble and brave knights who protected the lands of central Middle-earth. They were the Kingdom of Gondor's greatest allies in the war against Sauron. This authentically detailed axe replica is a reproduction of an actual prop made by Weta Workshop in New Zealand and used in THE LORD OF THE RINGS™ films presented by New Line Cinema. It features a 1055 carbon steel blade with a false edge and a deep beard with intricately engraved designs and a horse's head motif at the nape. With an overall length of 85 cm, the oval hickory handle features a genuine leather-wrapped grip. Each axe is presented with a wooden wall display and a certificate of authenticity.
