Ginkei, the 2-player ship from the Ikaruga shooting game that dominated its generation, returns to the lineup as a plastic model kit for advanced modelers! With the garage kit prototype created by sculptor Hiroshi Iseya, its shape was revised and details were added by Yasushi Suzuki, the game's original designer. With this new look, Ginkei was reborn as a 1/144 scale model kit. Because this kit was designed for advanced modelers, it includes greater detail and sculptural complexity than would otherwise be omitted in a typical kit, allowing for faithful recreation. The small wings can be extended or retracted by swapping parts, and the landing gear arm can also be recreated by replacing parts. The fuselage patterns are recreated using molds and decals. Also included for Ginkei is an exclusive rubble base designed by Yasushi Suzuki, which further adds to the atmosphere of this piece. The art package was also designed by Yasushi Suzuki himself.
