The villains take the form of the feudal lords who rule the divided land, with the Joker taking command of the warring factions. With his traditional high-tech weapons almost immediately exhausted, Batman must rely on his intellect and his allies, including Catwoman and the surviving Bat-family, to restore order and return to present-day Gotham City.
