    Product description

Many imagine wizards as great and powerful beings, moving the powers of the world in subtle but meaningful ways toward a grand design. Yet wizards come in all sorts of beings, and some prefer the company of creatures to that of kings. Charged with guiding the people of Middle-earth in their struggle against Sauron, wizards varied widely in form and nature. While some moved between the powers of the world, advising in war and using their wondrous ways to reshape empires, others were more subtle. Eschewing great halls or battlements, there was one among the Istari who instead sought the solace of the wild, preferring the company of wild creatures to that of kings. For those who may not look more closely, Radagast the Brown is a gentle hermit, tender in disposition and mind, often clumsy or irritable, with tattered robes and mismatched footwear, his robes housing a bewildering array of miniature beasts and fungi. This facade is such a complete illusion that even the Wizard himself is sometimes fooled, but in truth great power resides within him, as with each of the five Istari, and he is ever vigilant for the return of the enemy he was sent against from the West centuries ago. Dimensions: 11 x 17.5 x 9 cm
