Their home and base of operations in New York City is located in the sewers, where they remain hidden during the day and venture out on missions at night. Their greatest enemy is Shredder, the leader of the Foot Clan. Donatello, known as Don or Donnie to his brothers, is the scientist, inventor, engineer, and technological genius of the group. Wearing a purple mask and wielding a Bo staff, Donatello is arguably the least violent of the group, preferring to use his knowledge to resolve conflicts but never hesitates to defend his brothers.
