Christopher Plummer decided he wasn't comfortable with typical Klingon makeup and asked to be bald and more human, creating a unique look for a Klingon never before seen in Star Trek. Our artists captured the essence of Christopher Plummer's performance with a hand-painted head sculpt that captures the intensity and menace of General Chang's character. The wrinkles, piercing eyes, and trademark eye patch are all rendered with pinpoint precision. General Chang's elaborate Klingon attire was recreated in full-scale, down to the last detail. Every element was crafted to match the original costume as closely as possible. Due to the scale and production costs, some aspects proved too difficult to reproduce exactly. The tunic was adjusted to mimic the multiple layers of the original, using black leather and intricate stitching to replace the original's layered black and gray look. The Baldric Chang Wears figure is unique and intricately detailed. He comes with six different hands, all individually crafted to match his fingerless Klingon gauntlets. While the general never wears a leedin in the film, we like to think he would wear a more vintage version of the Klingon dispel and included one with the figure.
