At the end of the second season of STAR TREK: DISCOVERY, the crew clashes with a fleet of Section 31 ships. Each of these ships launches dozens of remote-controlled drone fighters that are anchored to an external structure around their hulls. All of Section 31's ships were designed by Ryan Dening, who originally intended to provide them with pilots. This model of the fighter is just over 6" (15.5 cm) long.
