With the power to freeze and manipulate ice and snow at will and the ability to stop the atoms of matter with the power of his Cosmos, the saint born under the constellation of Cygnus in the northern celestial hemisphere prepares to face any opponent, on the steps of the Sanctuary of Athena. The warrior with long blond hair and cold blue eyes seems calm, controlled and impassive, however he is one of the most emotional Saints, with strong emotional ties to his past that are his weaknesses, but also paradoxically his greatest strength. Long-awaited by fans and collectors, Iron Studios proudly brings the statue "Cygnus Hyoga - Saint Seiya - Art Scale 1/10", with the first of the main Bronze Saints (presented when the series is about to complete 29 years since its premiere in Brazil, in 1994), who will be part of a Diorama with the most beloved characters of the show.
Iron Studios also brings the Deluxe version of the statue "Cygnus Hyoga - Saint Seiya - Deluxe Art Scale 1/10", featuring a base with its back protected by a wall of sharp icy stalagmites, from which rises a sculpture of a large ice swan representing his avatar, with LED lights.
Formerly trained by Camus, the Gold Saint of Aquarius, the Crystal Saint or Crystal Master was the instructor of the saint candidates Hyoga and Isaak. After an incident that led to Isaak's disappearance, the Crystal Saint was determined to finish Hyoga's training, who began to see him as an idol. Hyoga lived most of his life in the cold lands of Eastern Siberia, and after years of training, he paid one last visit to his mother and then, in the company of Yakov, a boy who lived in a village near his training camp, traveled to the great wall of Eternal Ice. There, Hyoga discovered the Cygnus Armor, wearing it with pride. When the Bronze Saints were declared traitors by the Sanctuary, the Crystal Master was summoned and ordered to capture or kill his student, but he denied having handed over Hyoga or any other Bronze Saint, which prompted him to confront the Grand Master. Defeated and under the demonic control of Pope Ares, Crystal returned to Siberia, enslaving the villagers to build an ice pyramid to pay homage to Ares. Hyoga was then forced to face him, and Crystal dominated the fight until the moment of the decisive blow, at which point he was struck by the Swan Saint's Dawn Thunder. Mortally wounded, Crystal used his last strength to fire a blast at the Pyramid, destroying the last symbol of the Sanctuary's dominion and oppression over Siberia, and teaches one last thing to Hyoga, that he should never hesitate in decisive battles, no matter who the enemy is. Originally created in comics by Masami Kurumada in 1986 and adapted for anime by Toei Animation between 1986 and 1989, the Saint Seiya show tells the story of five mystical bronze warriors who fight to protect the human incarnation of the goddess Athena, wearing sacred armor based on different constellations. Revealed first-hand during Inside Iron Studios Day in August, take a look at the “Pope Ares BDS – Saint Seiya – Art Scale 1/10” statue, the first statue from the Grand Master collection revealed at CCXP 2022. Already available for pre-order, you can check out future releases in this collection and more coming soon.
