    Product description

Iron Studios Reproduces the Apollo 11 Astronaut in a New Statue! On the cold and desolate terrain of the lunar surface, like a knight in shining armor, the figure of the cosmic traveler marks one of the most important moments in human history. Dressed in his sophisticated white spacesuit, which includes a complex system of clothing, equipment and environmental systems designed to keep him alive and comfortable in the extreme and dangerous environment of space, he stands proudly behind the mirrored visor of his helmet. He raises his left arm in a salute, as a sign of respect and greeting to the world and his nation, while holding the flag of the United States of America in his right hand, ready to plant it in the ground to mark his presence. Iron Studios proudly presents the statue "Apollo 11 Astronaut - Art Scale 1/10", which meticulously reproduces one of the astronauts of the American mission that brought man to the Moon. A giant step for Iron Studios, a giant leap for collecting! In July 1969, during the manned space flight Apollo 11, astronauts Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin landed the lunar module Eagle, with Armstrong becoming the first human to set foot on the lunar surface, followed by Aldrin. Michael Collins piloted the command and service module Columbia alone into lunar orbit while his crewmates remained on the surface. They collected supplies to bring back to Earth. The mission was launched on a Saturn V rocket from the John F. Kennedy Space Center in Florida, the fifth manned mission of NASA's Apollo program. Broadcast live on global television, Armstrong stepped onto the lunar surface and uttered the famous words, "That's one small step for man, one giant leap for mankind." Apollo 11 ended the space race and achieved President John F. Kennedy's 1961 national goal of landing a man on the Moon and returning him safely to Earth before the end of the decade. The three astronauts were greeted with great celebrations in the United States and around the world, receiving numerous awards and prizes. Dimensions: 23 x 7 x 11.5 cm
