Ancient Northland sagas tell of a monstrous creature known as the Fenrirkynn. Towering beasts said to be the spawn of the great wolf, there hasn't been a confirmed sighting of one in Mythoss for centuries, and their existence was long ago considered the stuff of fiction. As the survivors of the attacks on Einsamall gaze upon the wolf-like monster before them, they know the Fenrirkynn are all too real and in grave danger.
Clad in strange, alien armor and still bearing the broken shackles and chains of a one-time imprisonment, the Fenrirkynn monster, Garmyr, is a savage monstrosity and the true horror of Einsamall. Killing seemingly indiscriminately, the Fenrirkynn Beast viciously attacks the residents of the small settlement as they stand before it in stunned silence. The heroes of Einsamall are no match for the monster's strength, but the flames of a carefully cast torch ignite the creature's fur, buying them a moment's respite and the ability to barricade themselves within the town's inn. Inside that structure, the survivors prepare for another assault as a terrible howl echoes throughout the night and the structure's doors begin to shake and rattle. The horror of Einsamall won't be complete until it claims its last victim, but the attacks suddenly cease when a defiant cry is heard from beyond the inn's door. Has something come to save the people of Einsamall from the monster Fenrirkynn, or is there an even greater threat lurking out there in the chilling Northlands?
