    Product description

The Sorcerer Supreme joins the Avengers to face the mad villain from Titan! With his vast mastery of the mystic arts, the Sorcerer Supreme of Earth manipulates energies beyond human comprehension, aided by his protectors, the trinity of entities known as the Vishanti, consisting of Agamotto, Hoggoth, and Oshtur. The fearless wizard floats with the powers of his enchanted cloak called the Cloak of Levitation, over ruins and jagged rocks, fragments of a mad temple created in homage to the entity of Death by his mad admirer Titan. With a stern look and incisive eyes, wearing the powerful artifact called the Eye of Agamotto on his chest, Iron Studios presents the classic version of the master of the mystic arts of the Marvel Universe in the statue "Dr. Strange Deluxe - Thanos x Avengers Comics - BDS Art Scale 1/10", inspired by the comics in which Earth's mightiest heroes face the threat of the mad Titan named Thanos and his Infinity Gauntlet. The statue comes with an extra pair of interchangeable hands with magical effects. Iron Studios will also bring the regular version of the "Dr. Strange - Thanos x Avengers Comics - BDS Art Scale 1/10" statue, depicting the Sorcerer Supreme on a smaller battle base and without the pair of interchangeable hands with mystical effects. Doctor Strange is the Sorcerer Supreme of the Marvel Universe, created in comics by Stan Lee and Steve Ditko in 1963. Stephen Strange was a brilliant neurosurgeon, but his arrogant, selfish and greedy attitude made him socially isolated and unpopular among his peers. Strange then suffered a car accident that damaged the nerves in his hands, affecting his movements, preventing him from working as a surgeon. Too proud to accept a lower position, he exhausted his fortune in attempts to cure himself, but to no avail. With his last resources, he went to the East to seek out an old wizard called the Ancient One for cures, but ended up becoming his apprentice in the mystic arts. Strange became the Sorcerer Supreme on Earth, establishing his base in the Sanctum Sanctorum in Greenwich Village, New York, along with his partner and friend Wong. When he began his superhero career, Doctor Strange initially remained distant from the superhero community, fighting his battles against Nightmare and Baron Mordo in secret. After a time, Loki manipulated Strange into attacking his brother Thor, but he soon turned against the god of mischief. Later, disguised as Dr. Donald Blake, Thor saved Strange's life by operating on him after another battle with Mordo. Shortly thereafter, a confrontation with Mordo led Strange to ally himself with the young Spider-Man, who aided Strange in rescuing several people from a mystical dimension. The experience was so traumatic that Spider-Man asked Strange to remove his memories of the event, although it also caused them to forget Spider-Man's acts of heroism. Impressed by the young hero's courage and selflessness, Strange came to consider him a friend and the two joined forces many times. Strange and the Avengers were involved in the fight with the Infinity Gauntlet-wielding Thanos of Titan. A worshipper of Death, Thanos used the powerful Infinity Stones on his gauntlet to eradicate half the universe's population before the heroes defeated him and used the same power to undo the damage.
