    Product description

In a potential future where his enemies have prevailed and most of his allies are dead, an old mutant warrior, unable to leave his traumatic past behind, begins to use his claws again in search of vengeance and justice, hunting down those responsible for the destruction of his new life and deciding to eliminate all the villains from the new world and bring peace to Earth. On a base in the arid territory known as Hulkland, setting out on a mission with a backpack, the reluctant hero dons steel-toed boots, wears a leather overcoat over his worn shirt and denim pants, and covers his head with a large hat. Thus, Iron Studios presents its statue "Old Man Logan (Wolverine 50th Anniversary) - Marvel Comics - Art Scale 1/10", featuring the most popular X-Men superhero in his appreciated aged alternate version from the 2008 Wolverine story arc written by Mark Millar and illustrated by Steve McNiven. In an alternate universe, the world has been taken over by supervillains who have divided their territories between the Abomination, who was later subdued by the Hulk; Magneto, who lost his territory to a new Kingpin; Dr. Doom; and the Red Skull, who has appointed himself President of the United States of America. The superheroes have been almost entirely eliminated, with a few survivors left in hiding, including Logan, who lives with his wife and two children in a wasteland in Old California, controlled by a crazed Hulk and his gang of nephews. Needing money to pay the rent, Logan agrees to take a secret package to the capital city of New Babylon with a blind Clint Barton (Hawkeye). After many adventures and challenges, Logan reiterates that his Wolverine personality died in the past when a group of supervillains attacked the X-Mansion, and he had to slaughter the attackers to ensure the safety of the mutant children, however, the entire attack was an illusion created by Mysterio, and his enemies were actually his fellow X-Men. That event broke Wolverine both emotionally and mentally, and he never used his claws again, until he returned from this mission to find his family murdered by the Hulk gang. Logan finally releases his Adamantium (a fictional indestructible metal) claws and seeks revenge. The older Logan was the main inspiration for the 2017 film Logan, starring Hugh Jackman as the title character. Created in 1974 by Len Wein, John Romita and Herb Trimpe, Iron Studios is preparing this release for the year Wolverine turns 50, part of a celebratory line that will bring big surprises inspired by the different phases of the hero, depicted in different scales, with more new ones coming soon. Having originally appeared as a supporting rival to the Incredible Hulk, his popularity and success in the X-Men and his solo stories have made him one of the most beloved and acclaimed Super Heroes in the Marvel Universe. Revealed firsthand during Inside Iron Studios Day in May, the statue is available for pre-order now. Check out more Marvel Universe releases coming soon from Iron Studios on their social media because Logan isn't the only one aiming to be the best at what he does!
