Product description

Marvel's Human Rocket gets a new statue from Iron Studios! On an iconic battlefield beyond time and space, amid the ruins of a temple built to honor Lady Death, the space hero known as Human Rocket soars above rocky rubble adorned with jagged stones and carved skulls. Wearing his modified and enhanced Centurion Prime uniform—dark, blue, and gold—his clenched fists energized by the force of a unique sentient mind artificially created by a living supercomputer, he joins a pantheon of great heroes to face the titan Thanos and his Infinity Gauntlet. Iron Studios presents the "Nova - Infinity Gauntlet Diorama - Deluxe Art Scale 1/10" statue, depicting the champion of Xandar and Earth. Produced for the first time by Iron Studios, it features the superhero as a member of the New Warriors, the Defenders, the Champions of Xandar, the Secret Avengers, the Nova Corps, and the Guardians of the Galaxy...The Man Called Nova! Iron Studios also brings the regular version of the first Xandarian centurion "Nova - Infinity Gauntlet Diorama - Art Scale 1/10" on a smaller base, made of a cobblestone of rocks with jagged stones. A member of the intergalactic military and police force known as the Nova Corps, originally an exploration group on the planet Xandar, the source of the Nova Corps' power is called the Nova Force, a limitless energy generated by a living computer called the Xandarian Worldmind. When the last surviving member of the Nova Corps, Rhomann Dey, was dying, he chose a young New York high school student named Richard Rider to succeed him. Richard received the uniform and powers of a Nova Centurion, but little instruction on how to use them. Calling himself Nova, Rider became a superhero, battling supervillains and teaming up with heroes such as Pider-Man and Thor. He initially hid his dual identity, but later revealed it to his family. Rider discovered Dey's ship orbiting Earth and used it to travel to Xandar, where he joined the Xandarian war against the Skrulls. With the help of Rom the Space Knight, the Skrulls were defeated. Returning to Earth, Rider was discharged and gave up his powers. Xandar was subsequently destroyed by the space pirate Nebula, and with the help of the hero Night Thrasher, Rider regained his powers and joined the superhero team the New Warriors. Rider witnessed the reformation of the Nova Corps and was awarded the rank of Centurion Prime. Assigned to Earth, Rider faced the challenge of balancing his life as a member of the Nova Corps and the New Warriors, but left the group when he was summoned to Xandar to face the Annihilation Wave, a Negative Zone force led by Annihilus. Nova's powers come from an energy source called the Nova Force, a limitless energy generated by a living computer called the Xandarian Worldmind, which grants him superhuman abilities including flight, superhuman strength, speed, and durability, as well as the ability to absorb energy directed at him and release it in the form of pulses and beams. Nova debuted in The Man Called Nova #1, written by Marv Wolfman and illustrated by John Buscema in 1976. Wolfman intended the young character to be a tribute to Stan Lee and Steve Ditko's Spider-Man, following his humble working-class roots and his alter ego. Revealed in April during Inside Iron Studios Day, check out the Thanos Deluxe Statue, revealed at SDCC 2023, Thor, first seen on the Ultra panel at CCXP 2023, and Captain America, revealed in February.
