The horns' cores are long, tapered bones coated in black keratin, a material exceptionally durable even after millennia. The teeth, serrated and curved, retain traces of gold fused into the enamel, the result of prolonged contact between the treasure on which it slept and the heat of its breath. The immense structure of its jaw and the resonant cavities of its skull once amplified a voice described as both fascinating and terrifying. This specimen can be displayed with its jaw open, evoking the roar that shook the Lonely Mountain, or closed, capturing the menacing threat of its repose.
