King Viserys I Targaryen is remembered as "Viserys the Peaceful", but his death, without a male heir, sparks a violent succession dispute that has long-lasting repercussions for the kingdom. Her crown was passed down from her grandfather Jaehaerys the Wise. It features the emblems of the Great Houses of Westeros: Lannister, Aryyn, Stark, Martell, Tully, Baratheon, and Tyrell, with the three-headed dragon of House Targaryen at the front, larger than all the others as a symbol of the Targaryens' majesty, authority, and power. After his death, the crown was taken out of the Red Keep and given to Visery's chosen heir, Princess Rhaenyra. For convenience on set, the original propeller crown was made of lightweight resin, painted to look like metal. Each replica is crafted from solid metal, for a more realistic feel. The development team at Factory Entertainment was able to accurately replicate the crown by carefully studying the prop used on screen and the 3D models used to create it. The collector's item includes a Game of Thrones-themed display stand that allows the replica to rest on the hilts of four swords.
