The 2001 action film Fast & Furious, directed by Rob Cohen and starring the late Paul Walker and Vin Diesel, spawned a franchise of 10 films, a spin-off series, short films, a TV series (Fast & Furious: Spy Racers), video games, and theme park attractions at both Universal Studios Hollywood and Universal Studios Florida. In the story, a gang led by Dominic "Dom" Toretto uses high-performance cars to hijack trucks carrying expensive electronics and ends up being investigated by undercover cop Brian O'Conner. Brian infiltrates the world of illegal street racing to get close to Dominic. Over the course of the franchise, strong bonds of friendship form between them, prompting Brian to leave the police and the FBI and Dominic to recover and take action by helping the American government. Already available for pre-order, the statues were revealed on Thursday, November 30, 2023, at the Ultra Stage panel at CCXP 2023, and later displayed at the Iron Studios booth, with a detailed reveal at Inside Iron Studios Day in February.
