The burden of a superhero. The loneliness of an alien.
Fate engraved on the throne of the Fortress.
At the furthest edge of the Arctic, hidden from all eyes, lies the Fortress of Solitude. And now, seated on its throne, Superman joins the Throne Legacy lineup.
This piece captures the destiny that comes with his mission as Earth's protector and the loneliness of an alien who has lost his home. The concept design is by cartoonist Gabriele Dell'Otto, whose vision of layered crystalline formations and serene posture is fully realized here, sculpted into a scene reminiscent of a sacred temple.
Every muscle in his body embodies the Man of Steel with crisp definition. His classic suit is enhanced by intricate textures and natural creases, adding depth and realism to the form. The forward-facing portrait reflects the heart of the concept: unwavering determination tinged with a faint hint of pain, rendered with delicate artistry. The embedded LED crystal elements are finely crafted, right down to their fractured surfaces and shimmering grain.
At the back of the statue is a monument modeled after Superman's inner world. His father, Jor-El, and his mother, Lara, stand with the symbol of hope between them, while their son, Kal-El, soars forward. Bathed in soft light, the scene radiates a quiet warmth, a sincere longing for Krypton shining through the loneliness.
Also included are three additional head sculpts inspired by Superman's appearances in the 1970s, 2000s, and 2010s. With two different "S" emblems on his chest and head supports, you can customize his appearance to fit your favorite era.
An artistic tribute to Superman's burden and loneliness, make this centerpiece a must-have for your collection.
