While most Thraxxians are only hostile when they feel there is a threat to their tribe, there are also those for whom violence is not simply a survival instinct, but rather a means of conquering and dominating.
A particularly aggressive clan of Thraxxian hunters inhabits the desolate expanse of landscape separating the northern and southern halves of Thraxxon, known as the Harrow Zone. Clad in armor crafted from the bones of their enemies, these hunters frequently attack travelers who choose to use the Harrow, particularly those they believe they can easily overwhelm. In a disturbing turn of events, the tactics of these Thraxxians have recently changed, with attacks on even apparently well-equipped convoys increasing at an alarming rate. The level of coordination and planning observed in their attacks has also increased, evidence that someone is using these hunters as part of a larger plan. Rumors have circulated of a wasteland warlord aiming to rule all of Thraxxon, and who is apparently using the Thraxxians' violent tendencies to achieve his goals.
It is a group of these Thraxxians who are hunting the convoy traveling from the OxKrewe camp to Scapehaven. Setting a trap along the Harrow Zone, the hunters lie in wait as their quarry makes its way toward them and an inevitable confrontation that could have far-reaching implications for the Thraxxon power structure."
