Part of a TU5.CC Empiricists' dueling team sent to investigate a spatial anomaly surrounding the planet Thraxxon, Jobara Kee and her partner survived a crash landing on the strange planet. With the possibility of rescue from trader Union Slim, the Empiricists knew they would have to find a way to survive in the harsh environment they found themselves in. Following a homing beacon broadcasting an old merchants' union frequency, the empiricists stumbled upon a discovery they hadn't expected – an arrangement they would eventually discover was called Scapehaven. Jossara and her partner approached the settlement, but were immediately besieged on all sides as raiders from the settlement they had hidden under attack. Raising their strong shields and brandishing their electrobatons, the pair of empiricists fought off nearly a dozen attackers. This display proved their worth and earned them an invitation to join the Scapehaven settlement and add to its strength. With their TU5.CC training and equipment, the Empiricists were assigned under Kurnn Ray as two of Scapehaven's rovers – teams that scour the Thraxxon wastes for resources and taking what they need to survive.
